The structure and build of the Stryker by Highlander is just SO robust. Not to the point where you can't maneuver though...there's a really nice balance between it being an extreme cold weather jacket AND highly practical. Starting with the main zip, this thing is just solid. Windproof AND waterproof, it'll protect not only YOU from the ice cold rain and wind but your devices too. The zip greets a high rise chin guard, perfect for keeping your throat and neck warm and protected from the harsh elements. There are 2 front/side pockets that are more than large enough to stash a really generous lump of your EDC, with smaller compartments internal to those for smaller, easy to lose items. A concealed hood can strengthen the collar when stashed away or protect your whole head from the elements when used. The hood has a fleece lining with draw string to adjust it securely to you head for MAXIMUM protection from ALL adverse weather. A hook and loop ID panel for blood type, medical issues or just morale can be attached as desired. The real jewel though is the patented AB-TEX material that makes this jacket waterproof, windproof and prevents build up of excessive moisture caused by humidity and sweat thus ensuring the most comfortable of expeditions.
